Bringing Health Back to Your Smile

Restorative Dentistry

Finding the right

Restorative Dentist
for You

We meet so many patients of all ages and stages of life who put off seeing a dentist until something is broken, or they’re in pain because they’re nervous or anxious. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about modern dental care that we hope to positively change, one patient at a time, through our Restorative Dentistry services.

Restorative dentistry is used for a variety of dental cases. Dr. Eric Rabovsky and team believe in using a minimally-invasive approach to dentistry to keep your natural teeth intact for as long as we can. While we can restore your damaged teeth, nothing functions or feels as good in your mouth as your natural teeth.

Let’s get started!

The first step towards your new smile!

Training &

Technology

Dr. Rabovsky never stops learning about the latest advancements in all aspects of dentistry, especially restorative services. We rely on these services to help fix teeth that have become decayed or have deteriorated over time, due to a variety of factors. From a simple tooth-colored, composite filling to more complex oral surgery, patients and their families choose Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions because we can do it all on-site, in the comfort of our office with a team you know and trust!

Patients also love our dedication to investing in dentistry’s very best, leading-edge technology for restorative dentistry that’s more precise and takes less time to complete. One of our most innovative technology additions to our office is the Galileos – Cone Beam Computerized Tomography (CBCT) imaging system with CEREC® integration. It allows us the distinct opportunity to provide you with more accurate treatment plan recommendations, and we can even create beautiful, same-day crown restorations.

Whatever your restorative dentistry needs, you can always be sure we have you covered. We’ll go out of our way to make sure you always feel comfortable and cared for, no matter what the reason for your visit to the office. If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Fillings
Everyone who knows even the tiniest bit of information about dentistry has probably heard of a filling. Dental fillings are one of the most common dentistry procedures performed across the country. With so many advancements to treatments and technology, fillings have really evolved and improved over the years. You can forget about the silver or amalgam fillings from the past that would make teeth look black and can contain mercury that can be dangerous to both your oral and overall health. At Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions, we use state-of-the-art image scanning technology to pinpoint decay accurately. We use only tooth-colored fillings made from a durable, reliable composite resin that blends naturally for a seamless restoration. Are you looking to have your amalgam fillings removed? We can help with that too using our Isodry® safe removal suction technology that prevents silver or amalgam dust from being ingested. We’ll have you and your smile looking great (and feeling better) in no time.
Porcelain Inlays/Onlays
Sometimes, when our teeth breakdown due to wear and decay over the years, a filling or a full crown aren’t suitable restoration solutions. In many cases, we might recommend a porcelain inlay or onlay to fix an issue. Porcelain inlays and onlays are a more conservative option but fit into a tooth similar to a filling and are milled restorations just like a crown. Inlays and onlays are a popular option for patients because they require less drilling. How do they work? You have bumps on your teeth called cusps. Porcelain inlays fit between your tooth’s cusps while onlays will cover one or more of these bumps. Our Crownsville dental office is equipped with leading-edge imaging technology with CEREC® integration so we can create your porcelain inlay or onlay and fix your smile in one appointment. Your inlay and onlay restorations are created from the highest quality porcelain for a stronger, healthier smile.
Crowns/Bridges
Dental crowns and bridges are two of the most popular dental restorations because of their ability to fix a broken or damaged tooth and give you the whole, confident smile you deserve. Fortunately, having a custom dental crown or bridge created for you has never been easier for us, thanks to our on-site CEREC® technology. We use it every day to help create beautiful, durable ceramic crowns and bridges in the comfort of our dental office in Crownsville. We can take precise, digital impressions instead of using the traditional bite impressions that can be messy. With us, you’ll never have to wait on your permanent crown to be shipped from a lab. You also won’t have to wear a temporary crown that can sometimes come loose or fall out. Our talented team can craft your new crown or dental restoration in the same day while you relax in our office. If you have broken or damaged teeth, don’t hesitate to talk with us and find out how a same-day crown can save your smile.
Endodontics
At Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions, we believe in conservative dentistry that’s aimed at protecting and preserving as much and as many of your natural teeth as possible. This is where endodontics or root canal therapy can make a big difference in your oral and overall health. While no one is necessarily thrilled to hear they need to have a root canal, thanks to the advancements in modern dentistry tools and techniques, so much has changed over the years. Why are root canals so important and widely used? Your teeth are generally protected against bad bacteria and infection, however, sometimes a deep-rooted cavity, injury, or fracture can badly damage a tooth’s pulp while creating pressure and pain. If you’re experiencing dental discomfort, it’s important for you to talk to us as soon as possible. We’ll be able to use our in-office digital imaging technology to better understand your issues and address your concerns. Together, we’ll decide if endodontic treatment is the right choice for you and your smile.
Oral Surgery
You might think we’re joking when we say that these days, oral surgery is less of a trauma and more of a pleasure than you ever thought possible. Dr. Rabovsky and the team at Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions are equipped with the skills and technology to complete minor extractions and major oral surgery in the comfort of our office. We also offer bone grafting treatment to prepare your mouth for dental implant treatment to help reduce jaw bone loss by 85 percent following your tooth extraction.

While we wholeheartedly believe in conservative dentistry based on keeping your natural teeth intact and in place for as long as possible, sometimes oral surgery or extraction is needed. There are cases whereby removing a damaged or decaying tooth can actually better protect your remaining teeth, relieve your pain, and help your oral and overall health. We will use the latest in advanced dental technology to complete your procedure as painlessly and comfortably as possible. If you are a candidate for oral surgery and need to have a tooth pulled, we have plenty of natural-looking tooth replacement solutions.

Restorative Technology

Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions goes beyond just being a regular dentist’s office because we believe in taking standard dental care and elevating it to the next level for maximum comfort and satisfaction that’s all for you. One of our most significant innovations and additions to the office is our Galileos – Cone Beam Computerized Tomography (CBCT) imaging system with CEREC® integration. It allows Dr. Rabovsky and his team the distinct opportunity to revitalize certain dental services and bring an advanced level of dentistry to our patients conveniently and comfortably.

  • Provide patients with BPA-free ceramic same-day crowns
